The OCSO Patrol Division consists of four part-time and six full-time deputies. When needed, the patrol division will utilize the Reserve Deputies.
The Patrol Deputies patrol approximately 485 square miles, responding to criminal and civil calls, protecting lives and property, serving warrants and civil processes, investigating crimes, and assisting other agencies.
The State of Oklahoma requires the deputies to attend 25 hours of continued education each year.
The Investigations Division is comprised of three full-time and one part-time investigator. These Investigators are responsible for conducting criminal investigations and augmenting law enforcement operations for the Sheriff's Office.
The Investigation's Division also assists other law enforcement agencies and the District Attorney's Office with criminal investigations and other law enforcement activities.
