5/27/2022 - Working with officials from SheriffWebsites.com, Ottawa County Sheriff David Dean has launched a new website for the OCSO. The website is part of a DEQ grant awarded to the Ottawa County Sheriff's Office.

Ottawa County is on the northeastern tip of Oklahoma. Kansas bordered to the North and Kansas to the East, Ottawa County was established in 1907. Ottawa County includes 485 square miles with roughly 33,194 people in the population.

Ottawa County is bordered by the following counties: Cherokee County, KS to the north, Newton County, MO to the east, McDonald County, MO is southeast, Delaware County to the South, and Craig County to the west.

Under the leadership of Sheriff David Dean, the Sheriff's office staff and deputies work within the county, neighboring counties, and state and national agencies. We value the communities we serve. We believe the purpose of our organization is to serve our communities, keep the peace, keep them safe, and work with them to solve problems.
